A Change of Pace
Posted by Unknown on 9th Apr 2009
As with all alpha and beta hydroxy acid containing products, this product removes the topmost dead layer of skin cells and promotes cellular growth. It is best to use this before bed so that your face isn't battered by the elements or cosmetics, so that it can get to renewing itself. I typically use the all-famous Invigorating Apricot Scrub because I like to feel the scrubbing sensation which this does not provide as a mostly-chemical exfoliant [yes, it does have little grains, but they're more of a novelty here]. It promotes good circulation. However, I do keep a bottle of this on hand for use once every two weeks or so in place of the Invigorating for its promotion of cellular renewal.

Faithful User
Posted by Unknown on 9th Apr 2009
I have been a faithful user of this product for a long time. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I use a few other products to help with the type of skin that I have...so it may just help aid in my good skin vs. cause it if that makes any sense! :) This product is great to use because it is not as harsh as other exfoliating scrubs. I personally think it may be too rough to use daily and especially a few times a day...but I have sensitive skin and others would be fine. I DO use this probably 3 times a week or after a night of wearing extra makeup before I use my Neutrogena anti wrinkle anti blemish cleanser (something I would die without). The exfoliating helps to slough off any rough spots and caked on makup and really open up the pores so that my wash and toners can really get in there. I even will use this occasionally all over my body to get a gentle exfoliation...and then a moisturizing bodywash afterwards. And hey ladies...anything that exfoliates AND firms and tones...you have to love :)
