Too Big!
Posted by Catherine on 5th Mar 2010
I have been relying on Mucinex for expectorant relief since I first discovered it. My biggest complaint is the shape and the size of the blue tablet. Mucinex in this form is one of the very few tablets that I have trouble swallowing. It is too big. It is too big to stick in my throat even when I cut it in half. Wouldn't a caplet with some smooth exterior layer serve clients better?

Works for me!!

I have an acute sinus problem that flares up every time i get a little rundown. since I'm a nurse in a local hospital, that certainly does happen! since i started taking mucinex prophylactically, i stay healthier, longer. so i'm virtually addicted at this point - better this stuff than surgery.

Easy To Administer, Effective
Posted by Mom the house nurse on 23rd Mar 2009
Recommended by our doctors to get rid of chest congestion. It does cause coughing but that's the effect - to cough up the mucus which can cause more infection. My husband used it not long ago to help with sinus infection/congestion and now my son is using it for flu symptoms. It's a must in our household.
