My son went to three doctors before the physical therapist diagnosed the problem...his cleats were not giving him enough arch support. And since he wore his cleats about 11 months out of the year, his pain continued to increase over the last several months. Doc said that these specific arch inserts would work better than the prescription arches that cost more than $300, especially since his feet are still growing. We have purchased four pairs of these inserts for all his shoes (they are really easy to swich in and out, he is just lazy!)! After two days of wearing the arch inserts, his pain in his ankles was completely gone! My husband has since purchased a pair for himself!
