Active Ingredients: Salicylic Acid (2%) (Purpose: Acne medication)
Inactive Ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat.,Glycerin, Isoceteth-20, Sorbitol, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance,Lavendula Stoechas Extract, Helichrysum Italicum Extract, Cistus Monspeliensis Extract, Disodium EDTA, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Caster Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Propylparaben.
- Wipe a pad all over face and neck to cover the entire affected area
- Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, but then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor
- If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day
- For best results, use 2-3 times daily
- Store in a cool dry place
- Close jar tightly
- For the treatment of acne
WARNINGS
- For external use only
- Flammable until dry, keep away from extreme heat or open flame
- When using this product with other topical acne medications, at the same time or immediately following use of this product, increased dryness or irritation of the skin may occur
- If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor
- Avoid contact with the eyes
- Stop use and ask a doctor if skin irritation occurs
- Keep out of reach of children
- In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately

Used to be the best, but formula changed over six months ago...

These pads used to literally clear up acne within hours, but Clearisil changed the formula some time ago, and the ingredients list on this site has NOT been changed to reflect the new ingredients. The hydrogen peroxide was removed from the formula, and without it, the pads do almost nothing. Such a shame! Overstocked Drugstore...change the list of ingredients so that people won't be duped into buying a product that no longer works.

clean but dry

The only bad thing I can say about this is, even though I have oily skin, this really dries my face out. Other than that, it gets my skin really clean, removes makeup, oil, and dirt, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean (but dry).

Well, I can't believe I am actually saying this, but Clearasil Ultra pads are really clearing up my skin in 3 days!! It's been two so far and it's drying every pimple out and lightening scars (thanks to the hydrogen peroxide in it). I was happy to find these because I used to wipe pure hydrogen peroxide on my face. To have it diluted properly with salicylic acid is perfect! If sensitive skin users can stand the stinging for about 20 minutes, I think they would be happy with the results. Thanks Clearasil!!
