I personally think that this stuff tastes horrible...especially if you try to mix it only with water. When I'm able to, I mix it with soy milk and can tolerate it a little better. With just water, it can be an ordeal to drink the whole cup. I recommend adding some cocoa powder or Slimfast to improve the taste. You absolutely need to have a blender to mix this powder. I've tried mixing with just a spoon and there were always lots of clumps. I've tried using a shaker and shaking vigorously for a minute or more--still got clumps. The blender is the only way to not end up with a clumpy shake. On a positive note, if you can ignore the taste, it has great protein content and is an excellent value. I always feel good after drinking it and it is really good for muscle recovery.

This protein, while isnt the greatest protein Ive had, probably is one of the better tasting ones. The main reason for lower rating is the poor mixing. It clumps up quite a bit. Body fortress is good for those on a budget and cant afford a pricier protein supplement.

This is one of the best whey proteins on the market for the money and value. I've tried several other more expensive brands, and none of them compare to the calorie, sugar, and protein content of Body Fortress.

I am someone with a very complex background - not only did I have gastric bypass, losing nearly 200 lbs, but I had a serious injury and as a result, have a lot of ongoing pain. Because this powder has so much protein as well as BCAAs, it actually helps your body rebuild. I have an excellent physician that told me taking this product is 'the smartest idea you've ever had.' It tastes good, mixes great with any fruit, yogurt, juice or milk (I drink soy) and by taking it first thing in the morning, you will actually help your nerves be revived with the protein needed to keep them from sending as many pain sensations throughout your body. I know it sounds crazy, but my doc knows his stuff and I believe it 100% because I have seen it myself! It's also great pre or post workout and as a meal replacement when you're just too busy to eat. I love love love it and it also makes me full enough to not need or want anything else. They have vanilla and chocolate available. I love vanilla because it's so versatile, can mix with anything. Chocolate? Not for me, but you might like it![...]
