No side effects IF you follow instructions. I never experienced any bad side effects. I have lost 30 lbs. since Oct. 08. I will continue to buy Alli and use it for maintenance. My goal was 25-30 lbs. I met my goad but I could stand to loose more. I would definitely recommend this product and have already to many people.
